Katharine McPhee, David Foster Continue to Spark Romance Rumors After Leaving Fundraiser Together
Katharine McPhee and David Foster fueled more romance rumors as they were spotted at a fundraiser together last week.
McPhee, 33, was seen leaving The Peppermint Club in Los Angeles with Foster, 67, Thursday night. According to reports, the "Scorpion" actress and music producer attended a fundraising event in the live music lounge together. They were photographed exiting the establishment in the same car, leading to speculations that they are indeed an item.
Last week, Foster and McPhee performed together onstage for her upcoming PBS "Soundstage" special which was filmed at WTTW's Grainger Studio in Chicago. The former "American Idol" contestant also announced that she will be releasing a new album titled "I Fall in Love Too Easily" this coming November.

The renowned producer and the TV star have known each other since McPhee's "American Idol" days. Foster reportedly served as McPhee's mentor while she was a contestant on the program in 2006. They even performed together on the reality singing competition two years after McPhee's season.
Back in September, Foster's daughter Erin added fuel to the dating rumors when she shared a Snapchat in which she referred to McPhee as her "stepmom." However, a source close to the situation told PEOPLE that fans missed the comedy writer's point when she called McPhee her stepmom.
"Erin's quite obviously tongue-in-cheek and sarcastic Instagram comments were pointed at those who can't seem to grasp that her dad and Kat can be colleagues, collaborators and longtime friends without it being some big romance, said the insider. "They can't even perform together without people saying they're headed down the aisle. Erin was messing with people who jump to conclusions."
Foster was previously married to former "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Hadid for four years. They announced their divorce in December 2015. McPhee, on the other hand, was married to Nick Cokas for eight years until they separated in 2016. To date, Foster and McPhee still have not confirmed the relationship rumors.
