Kendall Jenner Dress Shocks Onlookers at MuchMusic Awards (PHOTOS)

Kendall Jenner hit the red carpet in a revealing dress at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto on Sunday night.

The reality TV star, 18, set tongue's wagging when she stepped out in a Fausto Puglisi gown that featured two thigh high slits. The dress was embellished with stunning jewels and Kendall paired the look with gold strappy heels and a bronze clutch.

"Why do one slit when you can do TWO!? #MMVAs" Kendall captioned alongside an Instagram photo of her look.

The famous teen hosted the awards show alongside her younger sister Kylie, whose red carpet look was far less shocking. The 16-year-old wore a fitted long-sleeved burnt orange sequined mini-dress paired with open-tow nude heels.

"You are stunning @kendalljenner and @kyliejenner!! Just beautiful! #MMVA's," Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner captioned alongside a photo of her teenage daughters.

While Kendall's mother was pleased with her revealing look, fans on social networking sites were not. Many critics blasted the look as being "too sexy" and not age-appropriate, however, some commended the E! star for taking a fashion risk.

"I actually like Kendall but that dress is really unflattering on her," one tweet read.

"Kendall took a risk and it paid off, more power to her," one user wrote.

"Kendall's dress is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen," another tweet read.

The dress controversy comes one month after reports claimed the reality star has been trying to win back Harry Styles.

Kendall began dating the One Direction singer, 20, in November last year, but their long distance relationship came to an abrupt end in February. Insiders claim that while she has tried to move on from Styles she "just can't get him out of her head," according to RadarOnline.com.

"Now Kendall desperately wants him back. She loved the attention dating Harry gave her, plus she really fell for him big time," a source told Radar.

"Kendall really opened up to him and he did nothing but use her. That hasn't stopped her from dreaming of a rematch and after a night out with the girls, she'll come home and start calling him," the insider revealed adding "Harry rarely takes her calls … He doesn't want to encourage her, but it's turning into an embarrassing situation – for both of them."
