Khloé Kardashian on Letting Go: 'We Don't Need Anybody's Approval to Be Happy'

It seems Khloé Kardashian has erased toxic people in her life as she took to social media on Saturday and gave fans some words of wisdom from the lady who has been through a lot over the past months.

In her Instagram post, she said, "Let me remind you that we don't need anybody's approval to be happy in life. It's on you to validate and accept your version of happiness." She went on to explain that one should choose how to control his or her life. She said it's important to never allow anyone to decide for oneself since life shouldn't be treated as a prison.

According to the "Cocktails with Khloé" host, people can only become victims and prisoners in life when they do not choose wisely which people should be around. "Letting go is self-love...Removing toxic people from your life is only allowing room for a positive flow to elevate your mind, body and soul," she explained.

Finally, she reminded her numerous fans that people come and go and the world should learn to accept that piece of reality. She ended her lengthy post with probably the most important part of her insights on letting go. "God Helps Those Who Help Themselves," Kardashian wrote.

For Kardashian, 2015 was a stressful time in her life as her ex-husband Lamar Odom was hospitalized after he was found unconscious in a brothel. From then on, Kardashian stayed with Odom and helped him through the long road to recovery.

Another blow that Kardashian received recently is her breakup with NBA star James Harden. Earlier reports said the two have not spent enough time with each other ever since Odom was hospitalized, which could have been a reason for their fallout.

Kris Jenner, the Kardashian clan's momager, reposted her daughter's lengthy words and told the family's supporters and fans that she is one #proudmama.

Kardashian's divorce with Odom has not been finalized, but the two have been spending time together over the past few weeks and even celebrated the NFL's 50th anniversary together.
