Kim, Kanye Split Rumors False; Wedding Still On
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did not split up and call off their weddings despite an urban blog claiming otherwise.
On Thursday the popular blog claimed Kardashian and West's wedding plans had come to an abrupt halt however this is said to be false. The Hollywood power couple are still scheduled to tie the knot in France on May 24.
"This isn't true," a source close to the situation told Gossip Cop regarding split reports.
The reality TV star, 33, was photographed scouting wedding venues just outside of Paris over the weekend in preparation for her big day.
An estimated 200 guests are expected to attend what some fans anticipate will be the "wedding of the year."
"People are probably assuming we're going to have this massive wedding and I think that it will be — but intimate," Kardashian told leading fashion publication Vogue.
"Two hundred people ... just all of our closest friends … a special night for us and all the people that really love us and that have supported us," she added.
The couple, who got engaged in October, will reportedly honor their late parents during the lavish event. Kardashian's father Robert died of esophageal cancer in 2003 and West's mother Dr. Donda West passed following a surgical procedure in 2007.
"A part of the wedding is going to be devoted to remembering Kanye's Mom and Kim's Dad," one insider told HollywoodLife.com.
"Kanye really wants to make a point of having them both be a part of the wedding by honoring their memory," the source said with another adding "It's going to be an emotional day for Kanye, and his mother will be on his mind for sure."
Insiders claim an E! camera crew will be present to capture every moment of the wedding, much like during Kardashian's 2011 wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries. The wedding will mark her third marriage and the "Yeezus" rapper's first.
"Kim will be wearing white although its her third wedding. She's getting her dress custom made [and] she will have one dress change ... that dress will not be white," TV personality Chloe Melas said on "The Gossip Table."
"Baby North is going to be the flower girl. Even though she wont be walking at that point I guess they're going to carry her down the aisle," she revealed.
