Kim, Kanye Wedding in Florence, Italy, Not Paris, Says Source
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly getting married in Italy on May 24 and not France, despite previous claims.
The Hollywood couple will exchange "I dos" before close family and friends in Florence, which is famous for its history. Initial reports claimed the reality TV star, 33, and the "Yeezus" rapper, 36, would get married in Paris however sources claim that is not the case, according to ET Online.
Last week an alleged photo of Kardashian and West's wedding invitation leaked online and it revealed "Paris, France" as the wedding location however critics suspect that it is likely fake.
"The honour of your presence is requested at the marriage of Kim Kardashian to Kanye West," the matte grey card with gold lettering begins.
"Saturday, the twenty-fourth of May, two thousand and fourteen. Details upon arrival. Black tie," before going on to provide details of the wedding rehearsal dinner to take place in "Paris, France."
Details about the wedding venue have not been revealed and a source claims this is due to privacy concerns. Kardashian recently confirmed that contrary to reports, she and West are not filming their nuptials for her E! reality TV show.
"Guests won't know the venue until they get to Paris," a source told Us magazine. "[Kim] hasn't even told her sisters."
The privacy concerns have come as a surprise to fans, as many pointed out Kardashian's claim to fame which is reality TV stardom.
"We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Kardashian revealed on Twitter last week.
"You will see everything leading up til and after!" she went on. "As much as we would love to share these memories on camera, we've decided to keep this close to our heart & share thru photos."
A new report claims that while the couple will not film their nuptials they have allowed the E! Network to film "everything leading up to and after" their big day which will see them bank an estimated $21 million, reported In Touch magazine.
