Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to Let 4-year-old Daughter North Name Their Third Baby
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are supposedly giving their daughter North West the responsibility of naming her soon-to-arrive sibling.
It looks like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are excited about the arrival of their third child together — a daughter who was conceived via surrogacy. Sources close to the couple had revealed that Kim and Kanye are busy with preparing their house for the baby and that they are both currently in Los Angeles to be close to the surrogate. More than that, they had decided to be there during the baby's birth. With this being said, there are reports going around indicating that the couple might let their first child, North, pick her baby sister's name when she finally arrives.
In a report published by Hollywood Life, it is said that Kim and Kanye are doing their best to make their 4-year-old daughter, North, become more excited about the arrival of her baby sister. And this may include allowing her to choose the name of the soon-to-arrive baby.
"Kim and Kanye are very concerned about how North is going to react to the new baby," a source said. "It's especially challenging because they're using a surrogate so they can't even really prepare her. Kim has called on a parenting expert to get advice on what to do to avoid sibling rivalry this time around and one of the suggestions was to let North help name the baby so she feels more invested," the insider added.
Even Kim herself has admitted that North got really jealous when her second child, Saint, was born, and it may take a while before she actually warms up to her siblings but according to the reality star, she is getting there.
As for naming their upcoming daughter, it is Kanye who is pushing for the idea of North naming her sister.
"They're considering it, Kim's kind of on the fence about the idea but Kanye loves it. He thinks North is a creative genius and he's happy to let her name their third child," the source said.
