Kit Harington on 'Game of Thrones' Ending: 'I Know Everything Now'
Apparently, Jon Snow knows everything now.
It is no secret that the ever-popular HBO series "Game of Thrones" will be coming to an end with its eighth and final season beginning next year. With the show's inevitable conclusion, millions of fans' hearts would, no doubt, be broken. But no heart could be more broken than Kit Harington a.k.a. Jon Snow himself as he reveals he already knows what is going to happen in the final season of "Game of Thrones."
In a guest appearance at "The Show" airing on BBC, Kit Harington shares that they already had their final reading for the show which had taken place in Belfast, Ireland, and admitted that the whole ordeal has been quite the emotional roller coaster ride. Harington also did not shy away from admitting that he cried at the end.
"You have to remember that eight years of it no one really cares about it more than us. I get a bit weepy thinking about it. It's going to be a strange year saying goodbye to everyone and having last scenes with this person and that person," the actor said.
As to how the series will conclude, Harington made a joke saying, "I know everything now," which is a reference from one of the show's most popular lines said by none other than soon-to-be Mrs. Harington herself, Rose Leslie. "Game of Thrones" will definitely be one of Kit's most memorable shows as it is responsible for launching him into stardom. Furthermore, that is where he met and had fallen in love with his fiancee.
However, even with all the sadness and the nostalgia the actor is feeling about the show's impending demise, he can't help but feel somewhat liberated as he would finally be able to pursue projects that he was unable to do.
"Game of Thrones" season 8 will start airing late next year.
