Kristen Bell Saves Her 'Frozen' Co-Star's Entire Family From Hurricane Irma
Kristen Bell is a literal hero. Her "Frozen" co-star reveals how the actress saved his entire family from Hurricane Irma.
Kristen Bell and Josh Gad had both starred in the massively successful Disney animated film "Frozen," but their affiliation isn't just limited to co-stars as they are also good friends in real life. Just recently, the strength of their friendship shone brighter than ever as it was revealed by Gad how Bell had literally saved his family who was stranded in Florida from Hurricane Irma by bringing them to her hotel in Orlando.
It has been reported that Gad's family had quite a difficult time evacuating and were also experiencing issues over where they could find sanctuary. As it turned out, Bell was also in Florida at the time, a little bit more inland in Orlando, where she had been filming her new film "Like Father" and helped them get a room at the hotel she was staying in.
"So @kristenanniebell literally saved my parents and my entire family tonight from #hurricaneirma . When they were stranded in Florida, she got them a hotel room at her hotel in Orlando and saved them, my brothers, my sister-in-law and niece and nephew. They don't make them like this girl. Thank you Kristin. You are truly an angel sent from above. And thank you @ewablueeyes for bother her when I asked you not to!!!!," Gad says via Instagram.
Hurricane Irma has been described by Florida Governor Rick Scott as the "state's most catastrophic," to the point he even urged more than six million people to evacuate.
Aside from helping Josh Gad's family, the actress had also been reported to have visited a school in Florida that served as a shelter during the onslaught of Hurricane Irma. There, she sang "For the First Time in Forever," lifting the spirits of those affected by the hurricane.
