Kristen Stewart Forever Grateful After Robert Pattinson Split?

Kristen Stewart reportedly misses Robert Pattinson following their emotional split, however a new report claims the actress is forever grateful for the bond they once shared.

In May Pattinson, 27, reportedly ended his four-year relationship with Stewart, 23, one year after the actress' infamous affair scandal and he has allegedly since moved on with Hollywood model, Dylan Penn, 22. While the "Camp X Ray" star still loves the British actor, a source claims she is pleased he has managed to find happiness after their difficult breakup.

"Kristen still misses Rob, but finds comfort in knowing that what they shared was the best thing that ever happened to her... and she will be forever grateful for their relationship," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "She knows she can't compare herself to Dylan... knowing that Rob is happy gives her some piece of mind in a strange way. She will always love him no matter what."

Stewart, who met Pattinson on the 2008 set of "Twilight," has kept busy with work in recent months, in a bid to distract herself from the drama surrounding her personal life. The actress was recently in Berlin filming her new movie "Sils Maria" and a source claims the trip helped her overcome the heartache she endured following her split with Pattinson.

"Kristen is the happiest she's been in a long time. She feels a sense of freedom being in Berlin and is having a really fun time on the set and just exploring the city and the countryside," an insider revealed in September.

"She is with a couple of her good friends from back home. They are like her extended family and have been supporting her nonstop," the alleged friend explained. "Her friends always remind her to not take life or herself too seriously. They do a good job of bringing out her silly, goofy side."
