Kristen Stewart Gains Weight, Changes Hair for New Movie As Robert Pattinson Moves On
Kristen Stewart is said to be gaining weight in a bid to change her look for her latest film and reports claim the actress is happy with her new appearance.
The "Breaking Dawn" star, 23, is currently playing an assistant and confidante to Juliette Binoche in the film "Sils Maria" and director Olivier Assayas reportedly requested that she look "dowdy and puffy" for the role. In addition to the weight gain, Stewart dyed her trademark dark locks a shade of auburn and she reportedly intends to keep her new look after filming wraps up, according to Yahoo.com.
The actress, who split from actor Robert Pattinson in May, is now said to be on a high-calorie diet which includes large portions of chocolate - in a bid to bulk up. She recently spoke about her new role in an interview with Women's Wear Daily magazine.
''I play a personal assistant to an actress," Stewart told WWD. "It takes two very particular people to have that relationship be functional - one that services the other - because Juliette Binoche is playing the actress that I assist, and she is one of the most powerful women I think I've ever seen in film.''
Since her emotional split from Pattinson, 27, the actress has reportedly kept busy with work in an attempt to distract herself from gossip surrounding her love life. The British actor is now said to be dating Hollywood model, Dylan Penn, 22, and Stewart is reportedly hurt.
"When Kristen heard Rob had taken Dylan Penn out to listen to some music, she was not happy. She doesn't understand what's going on with Rob and his decision making," a source told HollywoodLife.com referencing Pattinson and Penn's recent date at L.A.'s Viper Room.
"There are a million people Rob could date, but he picks someone like Dylan, someone Kristen knows," the friend said.
Pattinson and Stewart began dating in 2008 after meeting on the set of "Twilight." They reportedly parted ways in recent months due to issues stemming from the actress' 2012 affair with a married man.
