Lamar Odom 'Spiraling Again' Following L.A. Night Club Collapse

Lamar Odom seems to be having health problems after collapsing at a Los Angeles nightclub.

The former National Basketball Association (NBA) player's health has taken a turn for the worse, according to reports. A source close to Odom revealed that despite being in good shape this spring, the 38-year-old has not been doing well these past few months.

"Lamar is spiraling again. He's out of control," said the insider, adding, "He was better this spring but things got worse over the summer and everyone is worried things are going to get even worse and they're scared for him."

TMZ notes the incident happened around 2 a.m. when the ex-Laker was hanging out at a VIP booth at Bootsy Bellows. He was allegedly drinking several hours before he collapsed. A video obtained by the media outlet shows Odom being helped to his feet by three men as people at the celebrity hotspot looked on.

In October 2015, Odom suffered from drug overdose and was hospitalized for three months. While some speculated that his recent collapse was drug-related, a rep for the NBA star said he lost consciousness due to dehydration. The rep also clarified that Odom is now "doing well."

"He was dehydrated and had been in an intense workout earlier in the day," the rep told E! News in a press statement. "It was also very hot in the club."

Odom was famously married to Khloé Kardashian. He dealt with several health issues before and after his relationship with the reality star. The former couple called it quits in 2013 after Odom's drug relapse and cheating scandal.

Two years later, Odom was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and was rushed to the hospital where he spent four days in a coma. He later completed a 30-day drug rehab program as part of his recovery.
