'Legends of Tomorrow' Cast News: Constantine To Join The CW Show For Its Second Season

The Thanksgiving holiday has been filled with interesting TV show rumors. This week, it has been reported that CBS' hit superhero drama TV series "Supergirl" might crossover with The CW's "The Flash." However, the Melissa Benoist-starred show must first get its "Back 9" episodes commissioned before Kara Danvers/Kara Zor-El can swoop into Central City or Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) dash over to Central City.

Whichever that may be, a new report from Bleeding Cool said John Constantine (Matt Ryan) of NBC's "Constantine" might once again be making his appearance. This time around, it won't be for a one-time gig like he did in "The Arrow" Season 4 for its episode titled "Haunted."

The report from BC indicated that the chain-smoking occultist will be joining the second season of the yet-to-premiere The CW's latest superhero-packed TV series, "Legends of Tomorrow."

The latter show is set to debut on Jan. 21, next year and is slated to feature the acts of Victor Garber as Professor Stein/Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The Atom, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, and Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, just to name a few.

According to the media outlet, Ryan's alter-ego will particularly join the Phil Klemmer-exec produced "Arrow" and "The Flash" spin-off series on its second season which in turn will premiere in 2017.

BC cited sources close to the matter saying that the show will "radically" change up the roster as well as the missions for each season. The new team for the sophomore outing of the show will be joined by Constantine.

Furthermore, there's a possibility that Steven R. McQueen of "The Vampire Diaries" might be assuming another character for The CW. Speculations from Screen Rant indicated that McQueen's alter-ego will be introduced as a guest star in LoT Season 1.
