Lenovo Vibe X3 Arrives In India; Featured Specs Include Fingerprint Scanner, 21 MP Camera

Lenovo's flagship device Vibe X3 has finally landed in India after it was launched in China back in November last year. According to Android Authority, the smartphone is exclusively sold through Amazon India starting last week. It has a price tag of Rs. 19,999 ($293), which is more expensive compared to the other Lenovo device launched in the sub-continent, the Lenovo K4 Note.

For those who are interested in getting one, they can expect to find in the handset a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection from scratches, as noted in Gadgets 360.

An information from Deccan Chronicle also said that the device has a 178-degree viewing angle which will provide users with an enhanced visual experience. Aside from that, it is said to deliver 100 percent color reproduction and has a 1500:1 contrast ratio.

It is equipped with a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 with two A57 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz and four A53's at 1.4 GHz. It will be paired with 3 GB of RAM and will have a built-in storage of 32 GB that can be expanded further up to 128 GB via dual-SIM slot.

As for the camera specs, the device features a 21-megapixel rear camera complete with a Sony IMX230 sensor, LED flash, phase detection autofocus and 6P Lens. It is also pre-built with f/2.0 aperture and supports 4K video recording. On the front is an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone runs with Android 5.1 Lollipop with Lenovo's Vibe UI on top. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner and gains power via a massive 3,500 mAh battery.

The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, USB OTG and Micro USB. GSM Arena also detailed that Lenovo has pre-installed quality audio with power stereo speakers up front featuring the Dolby Atmos. It also offers quality result over headphones.
