Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro Review - Specs, Features and Price: A More Attractive Looking, But Less Powerful Successor to Yoga 2 Pro

The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is the company's newest flagship 2-in-1 laptop, which features a 360 degree hinge that allows the device to fold back onto itself and function as a tablet from there. The Yoga 3 Pro counts as an Ultrabook because of its thin profile and light weight, competing with other similar devices like Apple's Macbook Air or Microsoft's Surface 3 Pro.

It features a large 13.3-inch 3,200 x 1,800 pixel display which can also be found on the Yoga Pro 2. Inside the laptop is an Intel Core M-5Y70 CPU with a 1.1GHz processor.

The laptop is also equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of hard disk space. Graphics-wise, the Yoga 3 Pro sports an Intel integrated HD 5300 card which allows considerable gaming prowess.

One of the most noticable features of the Ultrabook is its hinge which looks and acts like the band of a metal watch.

The hinge is unlike most laptops – a singular piece of metal construct – and is composed of many different small pieces of metal. The hinge allows the Ultrabook's versatility to convert from a laptop, to a tablet, and to a tent tablet.

Many consider the laptop to be much more attractive than its predecessor but less powerful. Battery life is still weak compared to other Ultrabooks like the Macbook Air or Macbook Pro.

It's also quite expensive too, retailing at around $1,100. Still, considering how much the Macbooks cost, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is more affordable.
