'Limbo' Makes its Way to Xbox One Early Adopters as Free Game on Dec. 1

Limbo, a 2D side-scroller game, has been discovered to be making its way to Xbox One early adopters on Dec. 1 next month. It was then confirmed by Microsoft that the game was indeed coming to Xbox One early adopters for free. Game keys have already been given out in celebration of the console's first anniversary.

Early adopters had received a message which reads "Thanks for being an Xbox One early adopter. To celebrate Year One, we're giving you Limbo when it's released. Stay tuned, your free code will arrive here."

Users who are qualified for the free game must have bought the console before Nov. 11, 2014 at any of the Xbox One's 13 launch markets and have already played more than 10 hours. Limbo for the Xbox One will be coming with 1000 achievement points but it seems that the game is already downloadable and playable.

"Limbo" was first released 2010 by Playdead and centers around a boy who wakes up in the middle of a forest to find his sister. Players must then avoid murderous humans and a gigantic spider who are out to kill him in his quest to save his sister.
