Followers of the phenomenal movie-turned-series "Limitless" have long heard about the cancellation of its second season from the executive producer and head writer Sweeney last May. Since then, fans online have been making noise about their dismay of the cancellation.

Fans' Outrage over 'Limitless 2' cancellation

Fans are angered over CBS network's high regard on their shows' ratings. For them, if the network is willing to invest in a storyline such as that of "Limitless", it can possibly stretch towards its highest potential. It was reported that the network cancelled "Limitless" after its first season because the show's rating keeps on faltering.

Out of frustration, several fans shared their predictions for season two on a Reddit forum. A reddit user bearing the username "gyuukarubi" shared that it would be fantastic to see the storyline of "Limitless" revolve around the main character's rise of power, similar to the surprising yet radical success of Breaking Bad's main character, Walter White or better known as "Heisenberg".

Another fan wants to stay optimistic and cited a TV show which went through a similar difficult start. A user with the name "omgfloofy" mentioned the TV series "Forever" had been announcing again and again that the show got cancelled, but ended up announcing that a network is interested in doing a different twist to the original story. The comment was then backed up by another fan under the username "9Blu".

According to another report, Bradley Cooper, recurring star of the cancelled series, urged and endorsed "Limitless 2" to other networks. Now that it has been four months since the cancellation of the show, Cooper has been busy doing a lot of work. The report adds that Cooper may not have enough time to do the second season.

Bradley Cooper is rumored to be doing the classic movie titled "A Star Is Born" with Lady Gaga. While this is interesting, "Limitless" fans see it as another reason why Cooper could no longer do the second season of the "Limitless" series.
