Lindsay Lohan Moving to New York: Next Stop Tribeca?
Lindsay Lohan may be heading to New York, according to new reports. The native New Yorker may be leaving her Los Angeles troubles behind.
Recently the suspect in a jewelry heist, Lindsay Lohan can't seem to get out of the negative spotlight despite her attempts to turn her life around. Perhaps as a last resort, it would appear that the star has decided that a change of scenery might do. The new scene: New York City, according to one source- although there's just as much trouble to get into in the city that never sleeps.
The New York Daily News reported that the star had plans to move to New York's Tribeca area sometime after Fashion Week in late September. The source also confirmed that she would be making her move with Gavin Doyle, her assistant and close friend.
Lohan was also spotted in the New York area over Labor Day weekend, taking the coined phrase New York Yankee quite literally. She was spotted hanging out with Pat Kelly and Shane Spencer of the Yankee's baseball team at Dorrian's Red Hand, a restaurant frequented by teammates. As her wingman, Lohan brought along Amy Brody Poliakoff, a cast member on new reality series "Gallery Girls."
In addition to being accused of jewelry theft in recent weeks, Lohan was also banned from the hotel Chateau Marmont after failing to foot a $47,000 bill which she believed would be covered by the producers of her "Liz and Dick" movie, according to a TMZ report.
On the bright side, if Lohan moves to New York, she can always take public transportation or a taxi to avoid any more headlines with car accident or DUI in the title.
