That leaves the Rangers 0-3 coming into Game 4, and the Kings now have the opportunity to sweep the series and claim the Stanley Cup 2014 title here tonight at Madison Square Garden.
The Rangers may already be feeling that the series is gone, however, at the very least they will not want to lose the series 0-4, and will not want the Kings to win the Stanley Cup at MSG in front of their home fans. So they will be fighting hard tonight to get themselves on the board and try and make the series at least 1-3 to take the series back to Los Angeles.
The Rangers are now just 6-5 in this season's Playoffs at MSG, and they will hope to keep a positive postseason record here by winning again tonight.
