Mandy Moore Weighs In on Revelation About Miguel Following the Recent Episode of 'This Is Us'

It looks like 'This Is Us' star Mandy Moore is pleased with the latest twist in the show's story.

The latest episode of the massively popular drama "This Is Us" has revealed a bit of information regarding Mandy Moore's character, Rebecca, and her subsequent relationship with Miguel, played by Jon Huertas, following Jack Pearson's death. And with this revelation, Moore claims that the world does not need to hate on Miguel's character anymore.

On "This Is Us," it is no secret that Milo Ventimiglia's character, Jack Pearson, is the most beloved character on the show, and possibly on television, as of yet. His endearing character coupled with his troubled past, and unfortunately, his subsequent death, has made him all the more attached to the hearts of viewers worldwide. With his death, fans aren't at all pleased with his best friend Miguel getting it on with Jack's widower, Rebecca. But in the latest episode, it has been revealed that Miguel didn't just jump on the opportunity to be with Rebecca right after Jack's death. This happened years after the Pearson patriarch died.

During the episode, Rebecca extended her hand in help in welcoming Randall and Beth's newly born baby, Tess. There, she asks for Beth's help in creating a Facebook account for the reason that she may be able to be kept updated with all the latest pictures of baby Tess. Afterwards, Rebecca receives a message from Miguel on Facebook asking her how she'd been the last eight years.

"I think that's gonna come as a complete shock. It is a real revelation. Miguel did not swoop in either before Jack's death or right after. This is ten years removed from his passing, and the feelers are just sort of being put out there," Moore explains during a "This Is Us" aftershow video on Facebook.
