Manny Pacquiao Next Fight: 'Pacman' Expecting Fireworks Against 'More Aggressive' Timothy Bradley Under Teddy Atlas

Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao is expecting an all-out battle when he faces WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley on April 9th.

"Pacman" has decided to pick "Desert Storm" as his opponent for his 66th and supposed final fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Pacquiao has decided to walk away from the sport of boxing, after almost 21 years of professional prizefighting, to mainly focus on being a public servant. The Sarangani Province Congressman will be running for Senator at the May 2016 Philippine Elections.

Bradley and Pacquiao have already fought each other twice in the past. The first one happened in June 2012, with Bradley winning a controversial split decision victory, handing Pacquiao his first loss since 2005.

Pacquiao, however, was able to avenge his loss by defeating Bradley almost two years after in their rematch in April 2014. The Filipino boxing icon won the fight by unanimous decision and was able to reclaim his WBO 147-pound strap.

In a recent report by Ben Thompson for Fight Hype, Pacquiao says he is actually expecting a more aggressive Timothy Bradley, now that the American boxer has gone under the tutelage of veteran coach and Mike Tyson's former trainer Teddy Atlas.

"I noticed under his new trainer, Bradley become aggressive, unlike when he was still under the watch of Joel Diaz," Pacquiao said in the report. "If Bradley would maintain that kind of fighting style, the boxing fans can expect lots of fireworks during the fight. That's what I want."

Bradley parted ways with Diaz last year to go for Atlas' services instead. The duo had their first chance working alongside each other in November, when Bradley fought former world champion and another fellow Pacquiao opponent, Brandon Rios.

The fight ended with the 32-year-old Bradley winning by a ninth round technical knockout, marking his first official title defense in his second reign as champion.
