'Master of None' News: Noël Wells Hopes That There Is Still Future For Dev And Rachel

Fans can remember Noël Wells after her portrayal of Rachel in Aziz Ansari's "Master of None." The last time that her character was seen on the show, she was saying good-bye to Dev (Aziz Ansari), since she wanted to explore more of her life in Japan. However, even if it's over between the two characters, Wells still hopes that there's still future for Rachel and Dev.

The second season of "Master of None" has not been confirmed yet, but Wells is longing to see great future for her character Rachel and Dev, even if it isn't romantic. The actress said during her interview with Cosmopolitan that she wishes that the two characters still pursue meeting anybody, if they won't get back together. "Hopefully you'll always come back to those people in one way or another. I find that very hopeful," she concluded. Fans will just have to wait and see if there is a chance for these characters to reunite, once the show gets renewed.

Wells described Ansari as one of the smartest and funniest people, and said that she likes that he likes to "collaborate" with the cast. She also said that she finds the story of "Master of None" refreshing, as well as its diversity and humor, especially with her character dating an "ethnic" guy. "My dad's a Tunisian immigrant, so he's a minority in a sense, and my mom was the product of a biracial couple, and so in my mind [Dev and Rachel's relationship] is just kind of reality, and also what I imagined diversity being like, where people can just date whoever they want, and it isn't that big of a deal," Wells shared.
