'Master of None' Season 2: Netflix Debuts Official Trailer

Netflix recently released the full official trailer for "Master of None" season 2, as well as three brand-new posters for the upcoming episodes.

"Master of None" is a comedy series that dives into subjects as diverse as the issues surrounding religion, dating in the digital age, revealing one's true sexuality to the family and finding the most delicious pasta to eat for dinner.

The first season of the show somewhat ended in a cliffhanger, with Dev (Aziz Ansari) getting on a plane to go to Italy and study how to make pasta while also finding his true self.

For the upcoming season, Netflix previously released a brief teaser which featured Dev and his friend Arnold (Eric Wareheim) riding on scooters.

Now, a full trailer has been released in which Ansari's character is seen going on numerous dates, returning home looking disappointed, dancing in the kitchen, partying intensely and jumping fully-clothed into a swimming pool.

A brief synopsis was also unveiled by the online streaming service company for "Master of None" season 2, which reads:

"After traveling abroad, Dev returns to New York to take on challenges in his personal and family life, a new career opportunity, and a complex, developing relationship with someone very meaningful to him."

"Master of None" was created by Ansari and Alan Yang, and both of them serve as executive producers of the series along with Michael Schur, David Miner, Dave Becky and Igor Srubshchik.

Aside from Ansari and Wareheim, the first season of "Master of None" starred H. Jon Benjamin, Lena Waithe, Noël Wells and Kelvin Yu. The comedy series is produced by Universal Television as well as 3 Arts Entertainment for Netflix.

Ansari and Yang earned an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for the show's season 1 episode "Parents."

The second season of "Master of None" is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Netflix on Friday, May 12.
