'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' News: Major Changes In November Patch And A 'Plot Twist'
The end of November is an exciting time for fans and gamers who are playing "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" as a new patch is arriving for the game. As reported in Tech Times, this upcoming patch is expected to bring major changes to the game, particularly in its tracking of PF ratings which will make for better FOB missions, among others.
Another report in Gamespot also revealed that a plot twist is in store for gamers when the patch comes in.
Details about the November patch were shared by Konami through a blog post. The first change it is said to bring is a better looking and better functioning user interface of the PF Rating screen. The display will undergo a makeover where all the factors showing the PF's overall strength are seen. This new user interface will give the gamer the much-needed information so that they can go and do FOB missions and others better.
New weapons will also be made available with the update. These include the option to develop Grade 8 equipment, which is now also classified as "new online development items," meaning these items can still be developed even if the player is "away from their game system or PC." MB Coins can also be used to hasten weapon development time.
New security devices for FOB are also included in the patch. Like the new weapons, they are also considered online development items.
For the Medical Team, a new function called "Anti-Reflex Research" has been added, which, when coupled with the Medical Team's level of achievement, will bring a shorter Reflex Mode time for any invader.
As for the plot twist mentioned in Gamespot, a Reddit user has reportedly discovered that a gamer can bring back Quiet with the latest update. This is done by playing "Cloaked in Silence" seven times, which will bring back Quiet who originally disappeared in the final mission of the main game. The name of the mission will then reflect "[Reunion] Cloaked in Silence."
