Miami Heat Roster Rumors: Josh McRoberts To Miss 10th Straight Game, Goran Dragic Talks About Role In Team
The Miami Heat will be missing the services of big man Josh McRoberts for ten consecutive games.
In a report by the Miami Herald, the 28-year old professional basketball player is currently nursing a bruised right knee, an injury that was believed to have happened during the Heat's game against the Lakers on November 10th.
He has not played since the Heat's game against the Charlotte Hornets on December 9th. The report adds that the team's sideline reporter Jason Jackson had already seen McRoberts participate in a pre-game workout in Orlando on Saturday night.

For Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra, McRoberts has been showing positive signs as he goes through rehab, noting that his player's healing from injury is showing some progress.
"We're looking at it big picture -- that the swelling is going down, that it's getting stronger," Spoelstra said. "He's starting to really work on his conditioning now. I'm pleased with his progress."
McRoberts, who was signed by the Heat in 2014, has played in 20 games in the current NBA regular season, so far. He has been logging in 15.6 minutes per game, and is averaging 3.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.2 blocks, and 0.5 steals.
Meanwhile, guard Goran Dragic recently spoke about his role in the team. The Heat signed the 29-year old Slovenian player early this year, along with his brother Zoran, in a multi-team deal involving the New Orleans Pelicans. In July, he re-signed a five-year deal with the Heat, amounting to $90 million.
In a report by Sports Illustrated, Dragic still seems to be lost, as far as his role in the team goes. He did, however, admit that while he is struggling, he is getting to handle to situation better.
"We're professionals, we know it takes time," Dragic said. "I like the challenge."
Dragic is currently averaging 11.4 points per game, 3.4 rebounds and 5.2 assists in 32.0 minutes of action.
