Indiana ended up defeating the Hawks, and then stumbled past the Washington Wizards in six games to set up the match up most wanted to see – the Heat against the Pacers.
The Pacers start this series with the home advantage, having claimed the No. 1 seed during the regular season, and they will need to get off to a positive start today or the Heat could take this series away from them very quickly.
The Heat, though, also stumbled a little more this season than we've become accustomed to. In the regular season they regularly lost games and looked more vulnerable than usual. However, in the postseason they have looked a much more solid unit and have come through to the Eastern Conference Finals with relative ease.
They swept the Charlotte Bobcats in Round 1, before taking out the Brooklyn Nets in five in the semifinals.
