Microsoft Surface Pro 5 vs Microsoft Surface 4: Rechargeable Stylus Among The Features?

Microsoft is expected to unveil the Surface Pro 5 sometime this year, and multiple outlets suggest that the next-gen tab will please fans as it will sport a rechargeable stylus battery.

The Surface Pro 4 comes with a battery, though a lot of fans complained since it can't be charged. This time, it seems Microsoft has heeded the complaints as rumors suggest that the upcoming Surface Pro will finally be enhanced with longer life through a rechargeable stylus.

It is said that the Pro 5 will be released with a Surface Pen that can be charged when attached to a dock on the tablet specifically for the purpose. This means users don't need to bother themselves with issues about battery life.

It is also expected that the upcoming tab will be lighter than its predecessor. Some users have commented that the Pro 4 is a little too heavy compared to other rivals in the industry. With a lighter successor, fans can go around with their activities without feeling the device's weight.

Another great improvement that is rumored to come with the new tab is a fingerprint scanner installed on the device itself. When the Surface Pro 4 was released last year, some consumers commented on the scanner installed in the keyboard. Since some fans don't always bring their keyboards, the scanner became a burden, especially for some who said the scanner is difficult to access.

Meanwhile, users are hoping that the upcoming device will live longer than its predecessor, which boasted 9 hours of battery life. However, owners said they can only access their tabs for about five to seven hours, making some demand that the upcoming Surface Pro display more strength in terms of usability.

Usage is very important for many potential buyers, and with hopes of a longer life, Microsoft may finally see a boost in sales in the coming years.

Microsoft's Surface Pro 5 is expected to release sometime in the second half of 2016.
