'Minecraft: Story Mode' Released On Wii U
After the successful release of "Minecraft: Story Mode" for consoles, mobiles, PC and Mac, developer and publisher Telltale Games recently released the point-and-click adventure game for Nintendo's Wii U console.
A Polygon report cited that this will be the first time that Telltale Games made a game for Nintendo's latest gaming console. The Wii U console is the last to receive the popular game, as it has already been released for PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 last year.
According to the report, the version that rolled out for the Wii U on January 21 only included the first episode of the game, titled "The Order of the Stone." The rest of the episodes will be made available, according to Telltale "in the coming weeks." Episode one is available at the Nintendo eShop for $4.99. It can also be purchased, along with episodes two to five when they arrive, with a season pass costing $19.99. All five episodes have already been released for the other platforms last year.

Telltale announced their plans for a Wii U version last year, and according to the report, it is fulfilling its promise. The Wii U versions of the game is said to support GamePad features, which brings off-TV play and touchscreen control.
Nintendo also shared the news on its website, stating how they are "thrilled that Nintendo fans will have the opportunity to experience" what they called "quality gaming" and "compelling content" that Telltale Games is known for.
The game lets players take on either a male or female hero who is named Jesse. As the hero, one must venture into an unknown world, which includes the Overworld, the Nether, the End and even beyond. In the first episode, the mission at hand is to band together with friends in order to find the Order of the Stone, or risk the end of the world.
