The award that every delegate wanted, the Beauty with a Purpose, was awarded to Miss Indonesia, for her personal mission to bring clean water to the rural towns and villages in her country, according to the Telegraph UK. After it was announced that she is among the Top 5 candidates, Miss Indonesia said in her speech that Miss World's Beauty with a Purpose is her inspiration to reach out to people. "We are so much more than us. We are fearfully and wonderfully made not just to exist in this world but to make a difference," she said.

The winners of each of the challenges gained points, and the top 20 highest scorers moved on to the semifinals, which was announced last night. Among those who earned a spot in the Top 20 are the candidates from Brazil, China PR, Ecuador, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Poland, Scotland, and South Sudan. The contestants from Australia, France, Guyana, Philippines, South Africa, and Vietnam ended up in the Top 11, and lastly, besides Spain and Indonesia, the ladies from Russia, Lebanon, and Jamaica completed the Top 5.
