'Mortal Kombat X' DLC Pack 2 Trailer Announced, New Characters Revealed
"Mortal Kombat X" fans better brace themselves as exciting things are coming in the game. According to a report by Game Rant, NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon announced over at Twitter that an official gameplay trailer for the video game's second DLC pack will be released sometime next week.
There's no specific date mentioned though so fans will have to stay tuned for further announcements. It's also not indicated what kind of content will be shown but as detailed in Game Zone, the upcoming gameplay trailer will feature the characters that are coming along with the Kombat Pack 2.
Together with the trailer announcement, Boon also shared an image of the four new characters. Included in the list are Leatherface from the slasher film series "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," Bo Rai Cho, a master of the Drunken Fist fighting style, Xenomorph from the classic sci-fi series "Alien," and new Kombat character, Tri-Borg, who is described to be a combination of series favorites Cyrax, Sektor, and Robot Smoke.
Fans are speculating that the upcoming new trailer will be showing more of the new characters' abilities and fighting style. And since there is no announcement yet on when exactly these new playable characters will be made available, predictions suggest that it will come sometime during the first quarter of this year since the gameplay trailer is also already coming soon.
And although not a lot were divulged by by NetherRealm Studios, fans have a hint on what else is to come because of a previous leak that surfaced a month ago. According to Gear Nuke, the previous "Mortal Kombat X" character pack comprised of Tanya, Predator, Tremor and Jason Voorhees.
