'Mr. Robot' Season 2 Spoilers & Rumors: New Character Joining; Elliot Changes After Learning The Truth

There's no specific date yet for the return of the American drama thriller TV series "Mr. Robot" but there are several rumors going around revealing some spoilers and the possible plot of the upcoming season. According to a report by International Business Times, the show will be meeting a new character who will be played by Grace Gummer ("Extant," "American Horror Story: Freak Show").

The source mentioned that the actress will be playing the role of FBI Agent Dominique DiPierro but no further details about the character have been revealed. Rami Malek, who plays the character of Elliot Alderson, was asked about the new character, but instead of revealing details about the role Gummer would be playing, he talked instead about Gummer as an actress. He had worked with her before on another project.

"I can't tell you much about her, but I do know her previously. So, we've just been texting one another and looking forward to working with each other," Malek stated in an interview with Access Hollywood. "Grace Gummer is such a really wonderful spirit. She's just fun to be around and very professional," he added.
