The two forwards that made the starting line-up are the Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James and the Indiana Pacers' Paul George. Manning the third frontcourt spot is the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony.

For the West, reigning Most Valuable Player Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors will be manning the point guard position, while teammate Russell Westbrook takes on the shooting guard duties.

The first frontcourt post went to "The Black Mamba" Kobe Bryant, who will be making his 18th and final NBA All-Star appearance. Assisting him in the power forward position is 2014 MVP Kevin Durant from the Oklahoma City Thunder. The center post went to San Antonio Spurs big man Kawhi Leonard.

Meanwhile, Kobe Bryant recently looked back on the night when he dropped an all-time career high 81 points when the Lakers played against the Toronto Raptors a decade ago on January 22nd.

In a report by the Associated Press (through FOX Sports), the 37-year-old Bryant revealed how he had pepperoni pizza and grape soda the night prior to the game, and burger and fries right before tip-off. He was also nursing a sore knee.

He also says he really has no explanation as to how he managed to pile up that many points.

''There is really no explanation for it," Bryant said. "I can always explain it from an X's and O's standpoint, from a training standpoint, but when nights like that happen, there is always something mystical about it."

"Scoring that many points, that really carries no explanation.''
