'NCIS' Season 13 News: More Focus on DiNozzo Before He Leaves the Show

The upcoming episodes of "NCIS" Season 13 will be centered on Tony DiNozzo as he is expected to leave the series at the end of the season.

Previous reports have suggested that Michael Weatherly will soon be making his exit from "NCIS" after thirteen seasons of portraying the role of DiNozzo. As a way to say goodbye, the final episodes of Season 13 will focus on his life.

As DiNozzo's exit approaches, an important member in his life is expected to enter in the story. It was revealed that Dinozzo's father will be returning to the season. Robert Wagner will join the cast of "NCIS" once again in order to take on the role of Anthony DiNozzo, Sr. His presence is expected to pave the way for the exit of Weatherly's beloved character.

As reported by CBS, the synopsis of the next episode revealed that DiNozzo Sr. Will be seen helping out a homeless woman who has delusions about her father. She will believe that Tony's father is her father as well. The situation is also expected to take a toll on Dizonno himself.

Meanwhile, a new character is expected to take DiNozzo's place on the series and CBS is currently in search of a new cast member who can play a young man named Clayton. The new character is expected to be the only African-American on the show for the coming season.

There were also reports that the series will bring on two new female characters when the next season airs. While there has yet to be news on who will play the upcoming characters, it was revealed that one of the new female characters will be a motherly figure to the group. With that, fans can expect the cast to grow, which will present a change in dynamics for the episodes to come.

The latest episode of "NCIS" is expected to air Mar. 22 on CBS.
