Netflix's 'Love' to End After Third Season on Netflix
Netflix has canceled "Love."
Judd Apatow's romantic comedy will officially end its run after season 3 airs next year, according to reports. This will serve as the latest project Apatow has wrapped after finishing his stint on HBO's "Girls" alongside Lena Dunham earlier this year.
"I am really excited about the third season of Love. I think it is our sweetest, funniest season and ends our story in a beautiful way," co-creator and executive producer Apatow said in a statement.

Apatow co-created the program with Paul Rust and "Girls" alum Lesley Arfin. The EP also confirmed the cancellation news through an Instagram post revealing the third installment's March 2018 premiere date. Also included in the post is an image of the show's new key art with the tagline: "Will they? Won't they? Should they?"
Cinemablend points out that "Love" got off to a strong start when it first aired on Netflix last year. The series even received a straight-to-series order for two full seasons. The first installment spanned 10 episodes and launched in February 2016. Viewers had to wait a bit longer for the sophomore run, which did not arrive on Netflix until March 2017.
Season 2 ran for 12 episodes and thanks to the show's strong viewership, the streaming giant renewed it again for a third season. The order was announced a month before season 2 came out, which just goes to show how much faith Netflix has in the series.
Further details about the season 3 storyline are still being kept under wraps. However, it is expected to continue following the trials and tribulations faced by Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) and Gus (Paul Rust) together.
Netflix's VP of original series Cindy Holland also released a statement expressing the company's excitement about the conclusion of Mickey and Gus' tumultuous journey.
The third and final season of "Love" debuts Friday, March 9, 2018, on Netflix.
