New iOS 9.3: What to Expect from Apple's Updated Operating System

Apple just rolled out its new version of the iOS and just like other previous updates, this one comes with several interesting add-ons. The 9.3 version is considered a major update and rumors have it that it took developers seven beta attempts before they decided it was time for a release.

iOS 9.3 is intended for the iPhone, from 4S up to the latest, as well as the iPad 2 and later versions, iPad mini and later versions, iPad touch and later versions, and the iPad Pro. Just like the other previous upgrades, users of those mentioned devices will be prompted for an automatic update.

The much awaited Night Shift feature is finally here for Apple devices. This latest version comes with a blue light filter in which the light will affect the circadian rhythm of the body. In simple terms, it helps users sleep at night.

For the Apple Watch, iOS 9.3 now allows the pairing of a couple of watches to a single device. The iPads on the other hand already come equipped with multi-user modes for automatic syncing of data. There are two new apps for education purposes namely the "Classroom" and "Apple School Manager," both of which help teachers in controlling the devices of the students during a lecture.

For the new Live Photos feature, Apple decided to add a little bit of upgrade wherein the user is now able to extract a full resolution photo coming from the unwanted Live Photo, the purpose of which is to give the user more freedom in freeing up space in the device since live photos consume more of it.

Meanwhile, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus users will have a glimpse at 3D Touch, but according to Forbes, the functionality might expand once the operating system is upgraded version 10. But perhaps the most intriguing update is note security in which users can now take advantage support for password and fingerprint authentication to notes saved on the device.
