New York Rangers vs Montreal Canadiens Live Stream Free: Watch NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Final Online

The New York Rangers will play the Montreal Canadiens on Monday in Game 2 of their NHL 2014 Stanley Cup Eastern Conference Playoffs Final series. The Rangers will be looking to go 2-0 up and take a strong grip on the series. Tonight's big game will start at 8 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the NBC network or online through free live stream (details below).

The Canadiens suffered a surprise blowout in Game 1. Not many had expected the Rangers to win, and even fewer expected them to win in the manner they did, piling in seven goals past the Montreal defense.

The Canadiens need to bounce back, and get their game in order and quick or the series could quickly move away from them.

If they lose here tonight, they will have lost two straight home games, and would need to get pay back in New York at the Madison Square Garden.

But if they are to get back into this series they are going to have to do it without their starting goaltender.

Carey Price suffered a collision with New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider in the second period of Game 1, and Price was injured in that knock. He did manage to initially stay on the ice, but when the injury continued to bother him he was replaced by backup Peter Budaj for the third period.

The injury was worse than initially thought and Michel Therrien has confirmed to Arpon Basu of NHL.com that the goaltender will now miss the remainder of the series.

That is a huge blow for the Canadiens, and if the Rangers can take advantage of that absence tonight they would be looking in a very healthy position moving into Game 3, and would become favorites to make the Stanley Cup 2014 final.
