NFL Most Disliked Player is Still Michael Vick More Than Four Years After Dog Fighting Conviction
After serving time in federal prison more than four years ago Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick still is one of the most disliked players in the NFL.
According to an E-Poll Market Research list the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback was disliked by 53 percent of survey respondents.
"Those who identify as big NFL fans like him, but much of the wider audience still knows him as the dog-fighting guy," said E-Poll Chief Executive Gerry Philpott.

E-Poll Market Research measures public opinion of celebrities based on likability, awareness, confidence as well as other qualities. This list is based on a survey of 1,100 people ages 13 and up.
Still Vick has been vocal about his time in prison and his new perspective regarding his life.
"I thank God," Vick said in a previous interview with USA Today. "With success comes a lot of responsibility. This is my responsibility. Because it's not just about me, it's about every kid that I can affect."
"I've made peace with it, because I have no control over it. It's not like I could do it all over again," the Philadelphia Eagles star continued. "But at the same time, I think I made a lot of changes for the better and I think in my quest to be an advocate against dogfighting and working with the Humane Society, I've helped more animals than I've hurt."
Last year Vick released his autobiography, Finally Free, which he began writing in prison in Leavenworth, Kan., where he spent 21 months for participating in illegal dog fighting activities.
"People are always going to have their opinions and feel the way that they do," Vick said. "You can't change it. The reason I'm writing this book is so people can have an understanding and not just go off of what they see on TV or what they heard, the picture that's been created."
