Nintendo's 'Arms' Latest Update: Customizable Controls, New Character Coming With Version 3
The next update for the Nintendo Switch's fighting game "Arms" will come with a much-anticipated feature, customizable controls.
When the update for "Arms" arrives, players will be allowed to customize their control buttons.
Players came out with the same concerns while playing the fighting game. Gamers criticized "Arms" for its control input decisions, which some may call absurd. For instance, many find the block control uncomfortable, which only activates when the left Joy-Con's analog stick is pressed.
Their decision to improve the control options is right on time since a new playable character whose fighting style leans towards defense will be introduced soon.
Apart from the control buttons, Nintendo will bring forth a new character in the upcoming "Arms" update. Lola Pop, who is a candy-coated clown, will be playable when version three launches. Lola Pop whose inflatable arms are set to the color of candy is described as a "street-performing pugilist" and a "well-traveled clown." She will be available for free.
Lola Pop will join the diverse roster of playable characters in the game. Among a mix of men, women, and non-human characters, players can attach their choice of arms which will ultimately determine how the character fights.
"Arms" debuted on Nintendo's hybrid console on June 16 of this year. It comes with a single-player mode as well as a multiplayer campaign. Their version of "Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots" has struggled to stay relevant since its launching. The new update, however, could turn things around for "Arms."
As of now, Nintendo has not revealed the release date for "Arms" version 3, but the tech giant promises it to be out soon.
