The Oklahoma City Thunder will play the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of their NBA 2014 Playoffs Western Conference Finals series on Thursday night, with both teams looking to get the upper hand in what has become a best of three playoff. The game is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the TNT network or online through free live stream (details below).
In Game 6 Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook were in amazing form as the Thunder came back into the series and leveled things at 2-2.
Westbrook managed to post 40 points, 10 assists and five steals in a 105-92 victory for the Thunder over the San Antonio Spurs.
"Coach told us he needed maximum effort from us tonight, and it starts with me at point guard," Westbrook said, according to AP. "My job is to play both sides of the ball. If you want to win a championship, those are things you have to do."
Durant said after the game: "Just his focus on every possession on the defensive end and his poise on the offensive end, I think that's what's fun to watch. People outside of our team don't really look at that type of stuff, but that's something we can definitely build on as a group, is watching him wreak havoc on the defensive end and offensively, playing with such patience."
Westbrook also managed to shoot 50 percent from the field and took just five 3-pointers. He was perfect at free throws, going 14 from 14.
Spurs guard Manu Ginobili said, "Sometimes he's going to go off. He's capable of doing that. If he makes a lot of jumpers, it gets really tough."
