'Once Upon a Time' Season 4 Spoilers: New 'Frozen' Images Released, Prince Hans Coming to Storybrooke

"Once Upon a Time" has released its first official photo of Elsa and Kristoff on the set of the hit series. Fans are ecstatic for the upcoming season and can't wait to see how the "Frozen" storyline will combine with the lives of those in Storybrooke. And one more character from "Frozen" will be in Storybrooke, one that could seriously impact the "Frozen" storyline and the people of Storybrooke.

Prince Hans is reportedly being cast as part of the "Frozen" storyline, which could throw a wrench into Elsa and Anna's lives and plans. In the Disney film, Hans was a prince who courted Anna, only to turn out to be a power-hungry person who locked Anna in a freezing cold room in order to go after Elsa and threaten her claim to the throne. It seems that nothing will change when he arrives in Storybrooke.

Hans is described as "a well-bred prince with a serious chip on his shoulder," by ABC. He will first appear in Storybrooke in the third episode of season 4. He will join Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff on the popular series, though it's unknown exactly what the "Frozen" storyline will be or how it will affect all those in Storybrooke, who seemingly just got their lives back after a tumultuous year.

"It's similar to the way we did Neverland last year, and the Wicked Witch arc," Edward Kitsis previously told Entertainment Weekly. "What we love about Elsa is that she is uncomfortable with her power – she's lonely – but wasn't quite sure how to break that loneliness. It took the love of her sister. So we're not interested in Elsa meeting someone. We're interested in exploring her as a person, like we have with Regina the past few years."

"We're planning an arc involving the characters from 'Frozen' and it also obviously involves the characters that already exist on 'Once,' but it's a close-ended story," Adam Horowitz added. "We're more interested in what the movie explored, the relationship between sisters, and that relationship will be central to the story."

"Once Upon a Time" returns to ABC this fall.
