'Once Upon a Time' Season 5 Episodes 8 and 9 Spoilers: A Two-Hour Special Will Air Next Sunday

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 episodes 8 and 9 will be aired in a two-hour special next Sunday, and ABC promises to reveal more details about Emma's (Jennifer Morrison) next move after forging the Excalibur again.

In the last episode, which is titled "Nimue," viewers got a better understanding on how The Dark One came upon, and also showed Merlin's (Elliot Knight) history. Merlin still tried to stop Emma, but the latter was successful in forging the Excalibur back together, which will help her do whatever she's planning to do next, according to Carter Matt.

In the teaser that was released for the upcoming two episodes, which will be shown back-to-back, Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) professes his love for Emma, no matter how evil she became. However, since Emma is also The Dark One, all of the characters know that Emma is just playing him. Regina (Lana Parrilla) even said that Emma's manipulating him, which is what The Dark One does.

The next episodes, which are titled "Birth" and "The Bear King," respectively, promise to reveal Emma's dark plans, and the teaser said that "a startling revelation" will turn everyone's world around like never before. At the end of the clip, Emma was seen saying to Hook, "You really want to know the truth, no matter how awful?" in which Hook replied, "I do." Fans can't wait to see what will happen next to the couple.

According to International Business Times, Emma will finally face King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) in the next episode, and fans are curious to see if Emma will end up killing him. Viewers also wonder if he is part of Emma's "plans."

"Once Upon a Time" episode 8 was written by David H. Goodman and Jerome Schwartz, while Andrew Chambliss wrote episode 9. Watch the two-hour special back-to-back episodes next Sunday, Nov. 15, on ABC.
