'One Piece: Burning Blood' Update: Release Date For Europe Announced, Trailer Reveals Female Characters
Fighting video game "One Piece: Burning Blood" is all set for a 2016 release. And for those who are waiting for it in Europe, Bandai Namco Entertainment has already decided on a release date. According to True Achievements, the game based on the hit manga and anime franchise is now confirmed to be making its way to the European markets on June 3.
The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One on that day. Bandai Namco also detailed in their official website that a PC release will also occur sometime in June so fans will have to wait and see when the precise date will be confirmed.
The announcement of the European release date also came along with details regarding the pre-order bonuses. Fans were asked to vote for which item they wanted to be added to the pre-order edition. And as per results, fans will be getting an exclusive 13.5 cm x 17 cm metal case along with playable characters. Included are Champion Luffy from the Davy Back Fight arc, Kung Fu Luffy (Drawing from Eiichiro Oda – Chapter 710 of the official manga) and Luffy Gear 4th, which is a character that players will play as for the whole duration of the fight.
Moreover, a new "One Piece: Burning Blood" trailer was released and according to Design & Trend, it featured the female characters that will be part of the game. The trailer revealed Nami, Hancock, Robin and Perona. They were also shown in alternate costumes - bathing suits. All four were then then shown battling in their bathing suits on the Thousand Sunny.
The trailer also showcased the characters' powers. It revealed Perona's ability to salvo the enemy with her special ghosts that cause depression. Nami's trademark weather attack and lightning cloud were also featured. Robin possesses a special attack that calls on giant legs appearing from the ground and crushing enemies with its feet, while Hancock has the ability to produce high-flying moves.
