OnePlus One Pre-Orders Again on Nov. 17, OnePlus Two Rumored for Q2 or Q3 2015 Release

The OnePlus company is scheduled to open pre-orders for a second time for their first released phone, the OnePlus One. The One is popularly known for its premium specs – on par with the LG G3, the HTC One M8, and even the Sony Xperia Z2 – which sells for less than half of the price of today's premium phones.

Though their phones are known for its budget pricing with the offer of premium line specs, the process to get one is of notorious acclaim. The company had relied on an invite system for interested customers to purchase the phone, which was met with disaster.

OnePlus opened up pre-orders for the One earlier this week Oct. 27 for one hour only. As expected, the pre-orders did not go as smoothly as the company wanted due to overwhelming traffic on the company's website. Doubled server sizes and a time extension of three hours apparently did not help, which prompted OnePlus to schedule another pre-order period.

The company is scheduled to open pre-orders once again for the second time on Nov. 17 later this month, to compensate for the blunders of the first pre-order period. The period will start 10 A.M. EST but the company did not reveal yet how long the time window will be open.

In the meantime, the release date of the company's One successor, the OnePlus Two, has been leaked to be somewhere in the second or third quarter of 2015. The release was confirmed by the company's executives themselves, by Carl and David in the company's Reddit Ask-Me-Anything thread.
