'Orphan Black' Season 4 News, Spoilers: Series Gets After-Show Titled 'After the Black'; Cast, EP Tease What's Ahead

BBC America's sci-fi series "Orphan Black" is taking a cue from AMC's "The Walking Dead" and will be getting its own weekly companion show.

The new half-hour after-show, titled "After the Black," was announced by BBC America on Saturday, March 26. "After the Black" will air each Thursday immediately following "Orphan Black" and will be hosted by Ajay Fry, Teddy Wilson, and Morgan Hoffman, the hosts of "Innerspace" on Canada's Space network.

The format for the after-show will be very similar to "Talking Dead," the companion talk show to AMC's zombie apocalypse series "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead."

According to the press release, "After the Black" will feature various cast members, crew, and special guests who will discuss exclusive plotlines, twists, theories and upcoming episodes. There will also be special segments such as behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive peeks at future episodes.

The first guests on "After the Black" will be "Orphan Black" stars Tatiana Maslany, who plays Sarah Manning and her fellow clones, and Kevin Hanchard, who plays Detective Arthur Bell.

Meanwhile, the executive producers and several cast members of the popular clone drama/thriller appeared at WonderCon in Los Angeles on Saturday, where they spoke about what's in store for viewers in the upcoming fourth season of "Orphan Black."

According to executive producer Graeme Manson, he and the others wanted to look back at the show's freshman season. "We wanted to go back to that moment on the tracks with Beth and Sarah and go, 'What did Sarah miss?' There's more story there," he said (as quoted by Entertainment Weekly).

"We wanted to get that feel back, that feel of season 1 where you don't know who the bad guy is, you don't know who you're speaking to," co-executive producer John Fawcett explained.

According to Jordan Gavaris, who plays Felix Dawkins, the next season is "a very fast train going towards a very scary tunnel." He also dropped a major detail about season 4, telling fans at the convention, (as quoted by Variety), "I think it's worth saying that we know who Dyad is… [but] Neolution isn't a company, it's a concept – they're everywhere and nowhere."

"After the Black" premieres April 14, the same night "Orphan Black" returns for its fourth season, at 11 p.m. ET.
