"Outlander" fans and followers have every reason to rejoice as the phenomenon dubbed as "Droughtlander" is about to end. With information regarding the series few and far between in the past months, the casting crew finally bears good news.
The actor who will portray the pivotal role of Lord John Grey has finally been found. Starz picked Australian actor David Berry to take over as Grey.
Berry is known for his role as James Bligh in" A Place to Call Home" shown in an Australian TV channel. He is also a singer and he travels regularly abroad for "Scream and Shout."

Who is Lord John Grey?
According to Starz, Grey is an honorable and steadfast British subject with a strong sense of familial duty and a solid moral compass. He is physically described as a handsome, flawless gentleman with a noble rearing. A past event brought him to an unattractive position as governor in Ardsmuir Prison, a desolate prison located in Northern Scotland.
Berry's character was already introduced back in Season 2 as a 16-year-old soldier played by actor Oscar Kennedy. Kennedy's appearance was short-lived as the series took a 20-year jump by the second season's finale.
In the book, Grey is a closeted gay man. Viewers will find out later if the series will follow along and if the story will expose how Grey has fallen for Ardsmuir prisoner Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).
Claire and Jamie
Season 3 begins with Claire and her attempt to return to her life in 1948. She has to deal with the effects of her abrupt comeback and its consequences on her marriage to Frank, her first husband—all this while she is pregnant.
Jamie on the other hand, is also facing his own misfortunes after losing the battle of Culloden, and losing Claire. As the story progresses, Claire and Jamie will have to find their way back to each other, despite being centuries and continents apart.

Starz has not yet given the final date of show's comeback in 2017. But their Chief Operating Officer Chris Albrecht assures everyone that the "Outlander" will be around for a longer time.
