Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3: Bradley Aims to Implement 'Perfect Game Plan' to Retire Pacquiao

Former WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is confident about his chances going up against eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao for the third time.

The said fight will be taking place on April 9th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, the same venue where the first two fights in June 2012 and April 2014 were held, respectively. It will also be Pacquiao's 66th and supposed final fight, before retires to put his sole focus on being a politician in his home country of the Philippines.

He will be running for a Senatorial seat on the upcoming 2016 Elections, which will be happening on May 9th.

For his part, "Desert Storm" is riding on a wave of confidence, since pairing up with veteran trainer Teddy Atlas last October. The new duo did achieve their first victory when Bradley stopped former world champion Brandon Rios within nine rounds last November.

Bradley, who is five years younger than Pacquiao, believes he has the edge over the Filipino boxing icon. In fact, he is assured that through Atlas' help, they will be able to finally close the door on Pacquiao's lengthy and illustrious boxing career.

"We have a game plan, I just have to go out there and execute it, just like I did against Rios," Bradley said in a report by Boxingscene. "I've just got to do my job."

"Teddy has shown me everything that I need to win this fight, but if I don't go out there and do it, then I'm not going to win this fight," he added.

Pacquiao is coming off a loss against Floyd Mayweather in the mega fight that happened after a five-year back-and-forth battle of verbal tirades. Prior to that, he has gone through the toughest opponents, against the likes of Brandon Rios, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Shane Mosley, to name a few.

But for Bradley, Pacquiao has remained the same fighter, and has not made any necessary adjustments, so far. And for this fight, he believes familiarity will not necessarily breed contempt.

"He knows me, but I think I'm going to be a little different now," he said.
