'Pokemon Shuffle' News: Fifth Safari Zone And New Pokemon Event Announced
The free puzzle game for Nintendo 3DS, "Pokemon Shuffle" will have new game events available soon, according to a report in iDigital Times. The latest game update will bring another favorite pocket monster to the game, Talonflame as well as the fifth Safari Zone for the game.
Talonflame is a fire-type Pokemon and the event will be its first time to be seen in Pokemon Shuffle. The timed event, according to the report, requires players to catch and defeat Talonflame within only 35 seconds, which is a difficult task. The report however hinted that players can best defeat Talonflame if one plays with a water-type or ground-type pocket monster, such as Palkia.
For the player's Mega Pokemon slot, the recommended monsters to choose are Mega Garchomp or Mega Blastoise or Mega Aerodactyl, which can effectively help the player defeat Talonflame.
The Talonflame event, according to another report in International Business Times – India, will be running until January 12, 2016.
The fifth Safari Zone is also available and according to the iDigital Times report, it will be bringing two of Talonflame's earlier stages, namely Fletchling and Fletchinder. These bird-like and fire-type pocket monsters will be accompanied by the Roggenrola line and the Camerupt line.
According to IBTimes, the Safari Zone event will also feature other Pokemon such as Boldore, Gigalith and Numel.
In order to do good in the fifth Safari Zone, water-type Pokemon are needed because these will help players defeat most of the monsters except for Fletchling. For the Mega Pokemon slot for this event, the report recommended Mega Gengar as suggested by many in the game's Reddit page. The zone will be running until January 12, 2016.
"Pokemon Shuffle" was released for the Nintendo 3DS on Feb. 2015, while a mobile version of the game called "Pokemon Shuffle Mobile" was released for Android and iOS on Aug. 2015.
