It was reported that Samberg will be taking on the role of Connor 4Real, whose fans are called Connfidants. The sneak peek of the film also brought some other famous celebrities to the story. Simon Cowell was seen praising Connor's work.

Another influential icon in the music industry, Carrie Underwood, was also seen in the trailer. While her appearance was not lengthy, she did reveal that she found the pop star attractive. Justin Bieber's mentor, Usher was also present to praise Connor.

As if that was not enough, Adam Levine was also seen sharing an intimate moment with Connor. A hologram of Levine appeared during Connor's concert, where the two were seen dancing real close.
Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer will also take part in the upcoming film. The two will play Connor's possee, taking on the roles of a DJ and lyricist. Another member of his possee is Bill Hader, who will be a determined roadie of Connor.

With that, fans are looking to see who else will be playing a role in the upcoming film. The comedic storyline will surely make way for more celebrity appearances and cameos. The movie is expected to show the behind-the-scenes happenings of Connor's career when his second album was not well received.

"Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" is expected to release in theaters this Jun. 3
