Portland started the season off well and surprised a lot of people as they lacked the star power outside of point guard Damian Lillard.
Fortunately for them, other players stepped up to get them the early wins. However, consecutive losses saw them slide down the standings and things seemed to be in disarray for the Blazers.
However, they have appeared to turn things around as they have now won their last two games by beating the two Los Angeles clubs to build a winning streak.
Against the Clippers, the Blazers built a double-digit lead as they won 102-91. When they faced the Lakers two nights later, they still had the momentum and hot shooting as they won 107-93.
Meanwhile, the Bulls lost their last game as they battled the unbeaten Golden State Warriors. They kept things close until the final moments when the defending champions opened up from the perimeter to eventually win 106-94.
Now they are trying to get back on track by beating the Blazers and ending the West squad's winning streak.
