'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6B Spoilers: Executive Producer Confirmed Reshoot of a Preview Scene

Many were curious to see how the hit ABC show "Pretty Little Liars" will bring the story and the characters forward, now that the timeline will be five years later. A sneak peak for season 6B was released, and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) was seen on the teaser to be working outside of Washington D.C. Fans ridiculed the said scene for being obviously too fake. However, according to the show's executive producer, Lisa Cochran-Neilan, they will now reshoot the scene.

When ABC released a preview on what fans would see to see on season 6B, Spencer's scene was called out by fans to the show's producers, not because of what she was doing at the nation's capitol but because of the poor special effects.

The show have survived using the same set on Burbank, California, and many did not bother with reusing the same set since it showed different locales throughout the series. However, the particular scene on season 6B's premiere got flak from the show's loyal followers for not using the green-screen technology too well.

According to MTV News, the fans who watched the preview at the New York Comic-Con laughed hard after seeing the scene where Spencer was sitting on a bench supposedly just outside of Washington D.C. The good news for "Pretty Little Liars" fans is the show has reconsidered shooting the scene once again, since even the show's producers were not happy about it.

Cochran-Neilan posted a photo of the show's infamous green screen on Instagram, which is captioned, "Last "reshoot " of #PLL season 6, budget was limited @sleepinthegardn stand in was a bit unusual." Although the producers will still use the same technology to make a fake Capitol Hill background, fans hope that it will now be a better shot. Inquistr added that using an interior setting might do the trick in getting a new and better shot.

"Pretty Little Liars" season 6B will feature a new mystery, and will be back on Jan. 12 next year.
