'Quantico' Season 1B Spoilers: Alex To Testify About Terrorist Bombings; New Agent Trainees Coming

American television thriller series "Quantico" is going to return to the small screen soon for the second part of season 1. But before it could even premiere its next episode, ABC has already released some official photos and spoilers of what to expect in episode 12 which is titled as "Alex."

As described by the network, in the upcoming episode, fans will be watching Alex (Priyanka Chopra) who is sitting in the middle of a congressional hearing to testify about the terrorist bombings. And since she will be convinced that Elias (Rick Cosnett) did not act alone, she will be determined to find out the truth and learn the answers to some of the unanswered questions.

There's also going to be a time jump after the events of the winter finale episode. The next episode is set three months after the explosion. Chopra revealed some spoilers during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"We come back a few months after, and now that the second bomb went off, people are like, 'Oh, maybe Alex wasn't the terrorist,' so what happens after that? What happens in the Command Center, where everyone was? Was there someone else in the class [other than Elias] who was involved? What happened in these few months?" said Chopra, enumerating some of the questions that are sure to be asked once the show returns.

The premiere episode of season 1B will be basically focusing on Alex and as noted in Inquisitr, Chopra revealed that her character will be "in a bad place" when the show returns. Since she is responsible for telling Simon to release the trigger, she will be traumatized with what happened especially since many people were killed because of her decision.

Fans will also be meeting some new faces when the show returns as a new group of NATS will join Alex and her classmates and it seems like there isn't going to be any welcome party for them. Their arrival will cause tension and competition between the groups of trainees.

"Quantico" season 1B will return on March 6 on ABC.
